PMS in Menorca: software for hotels and apartments

Menorca, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, combines family hotels, apartment complexes next to the coves, agrotourism estates, inland hotels and many holiday homes. Business is concentrated in places such as Ciutadella, Maó, Es Castell, Sant Lluís, Es Mercadal (with Fornells), Alaior (Son Bou), Ferreries and Es Migjorn Gran. Most businesses are small or mid-sized, with tight teams.

• Sustainable tourism tax: per person and night, depending on the type of accommodation, with a reduced rate in low season and an exemption for children under 16. Current amounts can be checked with the ATIB.
• Tourist rentals: require registration with the Consell Insular de Menorca and compliance with the rules of each municipality.

When the season closes, the work does not stop. You need to review the occupancy reports, ADR and RevPAR, settle accounts with owners, export invoicing to your accountant and decide which rates to adjust for next year. Having everything in one system avoids rebuilding figures from several spreadsheets.
